Infants are not allowed to fly under the age of 8-10 days depending on stateside or internationally. I flew stateside with my 5week old and he slept the entire flight of 4hrs. :) More input from FAQ Farmers: * I don't believe there is any minimum age. But you can call any airline to be sure. Most international flights will not let an infant younger than two days old fly.
* There is a minimum age, I'm pretty sure it's a month old (check with the airline to be sure though, as it may differ between airlines) * As long as the infant has a passport, it can fly.
Newborns can now fly at 2 days old. They do however need a passport!
