How do you get Moltres in Pokemon Fire Red?

Moltres is located on One Island, which you will reach after receiving your seventh badge from Cinnabar Island's gym. Once on One Island, walk as far east as the island will let you and then surf northeast. Continue heading north until you come to some water on the north west edge of the Ember Spa. Surf north and you will find Mt. Ember. Moltres is at the top of the mountain.It is obvious that using a Master Ball would be the easy choice in this situation. But, if you are a serious trainer, it is advised that you do not use your Master Ball to catch Moltres because there are better and harder Pokemon to catch (e.g., Lugia, Ho-Oh, Mewtwo, Mew, Lugia, Deoxys, etc). A common alternative choice is to lower Moltres's HP as low as possible without causing it to faint, and then throwing Ultra Balls at it until you successfully catch it. This process can take a while and will need plenty of funds for Ultra Balls and Hyper Potions. It is also a good idea to save your game before attempting to do this for fear of Moltres fainting, your own Pokemon fainting, or running out of Ultra Balls.

Moltres is found in Victory Road, which is only accessible after you have conquered all eight Gyms. Once that's done, head west of Viridian City, making sure that you have Pokémon that can use Strength and Surf in your party. Once you reach the gate, take the north exit, and continue north through Route 23; the guards you meet along the way will check off each of your Badges. Assuming you have all eight, you will be able to make it to the cave at the end of the Route.

Once inside, head east and you will find a boulder that can be moved with Strength not far from a circular switch on the ground. Push the boulder onto the switch to unblock the way on the stone platform, and then head to the northwest corner of the floor, and take the ladder. On the second floor, head downwards and push the boulder you find onto the switch. Head east through the cave, and take the ladder that you can access, then head to the northwest ladder.

Moltres will be in that room. It is at Level 50 and knows Peck and Fire Spin.

Getting Moltres is actually pretty easy. First you have to go to One Island, then go to the top of Mt. Ember. Moltres will be there waiting for you. He will be level 50 and know Flamethrower, Endure, Agility and Fire Spin.

Once it comes a lot attack it then catch it or you can use a quick ball if your lucky or a master ball.You can get a master ball at the jubilife city tv station with a lottery ticket.To get a lottery ticket,talk to the lady at the counter at jubilife city.

In order to catch Moltres in Pokémon X and Y, you must pick Froakie as your starter at the beginning of your adventure.
After you beat the Elite Four, you'll randomly find Moltres in the grass but it will flee right away. After you encounter it around dozen times, it can then be found and caught inside the Sea Spirit's Den at Azure Bay (HM03 Surf required), which is near Route 12 or Coumarine City.
The easiest way to find Moltres is by using the Pokédex but keep in mind that it will change its location every time you use the HM01 Fly to get to another Town/City.

You can't catch Moltres in Pokemon Crystal without Cheat Devices or Events (it's long gone now). You have to trade with Pokemon Red, Blue and Yellow to get Moltres.
