  • the three common signs of hearing loss are:

    1)excessive hair growth in ear

    2)clear urine

    3)uncontrollable blinking

(also some loss of hearing is also a part of hearing loss)

  • I have not heard of the three signs described by the previous writer of hearing loss, but some common symptoms which I am aware of are: struggling to hear conversation where there is background noise, having to turn the TV volume or radio volume up to hear and sometimes a ringing in the ears known as tinnitus. See the related link entitled "tinnitus claim" to know your rights if tinnitus and hearing loss is as a result of noise exposure at work.

One of the main and earliest warning signs of hearing loss is actually tinnitus, or ringing in the ears - it's considered a herald that all is not right within the ear and can indicate other problems as well. Other signs that hearing loss could be imminent include: having people complain that you have the volume on the TV or stereo too loud; straining to understand conversations - especially when there is background noise; having to ask others to repeat themselves; and difficulty understanding the speech of small children, who have higher pitched voices than adults.
