∙ 15y agoShannon Pole-Summers benched 531 which beat the former record of 530 held by Becca Swanson actually, these numbers were attained through the use of a 'bench shirt', which adds quite a bit more poundage to a one rep max. without one of these aid devices, The strongest women in the world can bench press in the upper 300's and a few can bench press even around 400! Impressive, but not 530 pounds.....
