What is the firing order for a 1987 Ford F600 370 V4?

It should be listed on the intake manifold in front of the carburetor

Seriously? You don't think maybe the poster already looked there and couldn't see it? If you can't give a helpful answer, then why did you even log in?

The 370-4v is a common "torque monster" engine in a lot of big trucks like F600/F700 series dump trucks and in school buses. It's a "385 series" engine, which means it's very similar to the Ford 460, but for some reason, information specific to the 370 is difficult to find online.

The firing order is 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8, the distributor rotates counter-clockwise as you look down at it, the #1 cylinder is the frontmost passenger side, and the cylinder numbers are 1-2-3-4 front to back on the passenger side, and 5-6-7-8 front to back on the driver side.

8-7-6-5

Front

4-3-2-1
