Well, the fundamental philosophy is that desire causing suffering in life and therefore should be removed. The whole idea is that you stop caring about how people look at you, let go of your ego, and just accept things as they are. (of course if you can change things for the better you should).

But to me, the fundamental philosophy is that you can never know anything certainly, and you can never know the probability of something certainly, so you really don't know anything at all.
