100 MHz, and the 'hint' doesn't help you find this answer at all.

It only tells you how to write it once you find it.

The equation for frequency is f=v/λ where f= Frequency,
v= Phase Velocity or in basic physics just velocity,
λ= Wavelength

But there is a special case where if electromagnetic waves are in a vacuum then v=c where C= The speed of Light

so you have 3x10-4 = c/λ or λ=c/3x10-4
so if you sub in the speed of light for c=299,792,458m/s then you get

λ= 999308193333.333333333m
or in appropriate significant figure notation
λ= 9x1011m

Wavelength = (speed) divided by (frequency)

Speed of light, radio, infrared, x-rays, etc. = 300,000,000 meters/sec

Wavelength = (300,000,000 / 3,000,000) = 100 meters.

You can't see that wavelength, and it's not usually described as "light".
It's in the region of the electromagnetic spectrum known as "radio".

Because the speed is in m/s, you need to convert the frequency from megaherz to hz, which is /s.

Convert MHz to Hz

60 MHz x 1 000 000 Hz/MHz = 60 000 000Hz = 6 x 107Hz

Known:

f = 6 x 107Hz

c = 3 x 108 m/s = speed of light in a vacuum

Unknown: wavelength, λ

Equation:

c = ƒ•λ, where f if frequency in Hz, λ is the wavelength in meters, and c is the speed of light in a vacuum in m/s.

Solution:

λ = c/ƒ = (3 x 108 m/s) / (6 x 107Hz) = 5 m

==========================

Summary, for shorter attention-spans:

Wavelength = (speed)/(frequency) = (3 x 108)/(60 x 106)= 5 meters
