An acrsome is an organelle that develops over the anterior half of the sperm's head. Its purpose is to break down the outer layer of the ovum so the sperm can join the egg.
The functional purpose of the acrosomal reaction is to help the sperm get through the egg's protective coat, & to allow the plasma membranes of the sperm & egg to fuse.
contains enzymes that allow the sperm to penetrate the egg.
the "cap" on the head of the sperm that contains enzymes that make it possible for the sperm to penetrate the egg.
Enzyme to penetrate outer layer of egg.
Acrosome
There is a specialized lysosome. It is called acrosome
Centrioles, acrosome (only in sperm), cilium is rare in plants.
The sperms head and acrosome change shape slightly and sperm loses cytoplasm and becomes somewhat smaller.
testes produce sperms
sperms
Sperms. It is sperms
Pollen are male sex cells. So they contain sperms.
sperms
Yes some cells have. Sperms are good example
