What is the gas tank capacity of a 1996 Toyota Tercel 2 dr automatic trans?
it tells you in the manual. I have a '96 tercel 2 door manual trans. and I do believe the gas tank capacity is 47 litres.
if it's an automatic trans. then you pour it into the the hole for the dip stick using a funnel, if it's a manual trans. with no dip stick then there should be a fill plug similer to the drain plug on the side of the transmission under the vehicle. call dealer to find out trans capacity and check the flued level with trans hot.
there isn't a difference cause theres no such thing as a automatic or manual engine. there is such thing as a manual transmission aka trans. and a automatic trans. the automatic shifts by hydrolic pressure that increases when acclurating. and a manual trans the person driving the vehical shifts the gears with a lever. i hope that's what you wanted to know.
You are changing your aw4 automatic trans to an ax15 5 speed is the bell housing the same for these to transmissions?
Depends if you have automatic or manual transmission. Automatic trans fluid is type T-IV, which is a special type made by Toyota, I think I heard somewhere that a 3rd party was selling this type but I haven't seen it personally. You can buy T-IV ATF from the dealership or some online places including eBay at a slight discount.
