Depends on whether you can hear the sound with it parked and running or you have to be driving down the road. Need more information. Aerostars hum when just running due to noisy power steering (normal) or the fuel pump (normal). If the noise increases when you turn the steering wheel right or left then its the power steering. Added: 27th,Mar.'08.I have owned 3 Aerostars so far & this sounds familiar. My 2 previous Aerostars had a diff. problem where they hummed under load. The last one was so loud that when we were on the highway, I would have to take my foot off the gas pedal to hear my kids talking to me from the back seats. I have avoided that problem so far on my latest one by replacing the diff. oil with synthetic gear oil. I bought this one ('97) with 148,000 Kms. & it now has over 330,000 Kms. & no hum from the rear end so far.
