The Temple Mount where the 1st and 2nd holy temples once stood is the holiest site for the Jews. The Western Wall is a remaining retaining wall of the temple that wasn't destroyed in the year 70. Today, the Western wall is frequented by Jews who come to pray. The top of the mount is generally not accessible to Jews primarily for religious reasons as the site is still considered a holy site that must only be visited in a pure state. Today, no one is considered to be in this state. There are also security reasons why the Israeli government does not generally allow Jews visitation on the Temple Mount as this is where the Dome of the Rock which is holy to the Muslims sits today.

The Jews revere the Wailing Wall Western Wall which is the surviving wall of the ancient temple. The Dome of the Rock is where Mohammad ascended to heaven, and the Place of the Rock (Golgotha) is where Jesus was crucified.

Though Judaism places less emphasis on landmarks than other religions, the holiest places in Judaism are in Israel, the holiest being the Kotel/Western Wall, the last remaining wall of the Holy Temple (which was destroyed in 70 AD). Other holy cities in Israel include Tzfat, Chevron, Beer Sheva, Tevariato name a few.
