I own an 84 cutlass myself. It's all original with a powerfulk 5.0l I recently took it to intell dyno and it pumped out a whopping 132 horsepower and 146 pounds of torque.
The 0-60 times are around 9 seconds and it runs the quarter mile in about 18 seconds.
I just found out how much they suck. I'm pissed off because i recently raced a Honda preice and it blew my doors off. I bought it for around 3500 and found out it only retails around 800 dollars.
If you really want power don't go with Oldsmobile... it's exactly how it sounds, OLD.
Oldsmobile are not fast and can never be fast even with the 442.
The 1987 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme was rated 350 horsepower with the with the V8 engine. It was last year that the Cutlass was a rear wheel drive vehicle.
