The highest accepted recorded temperature in Spain was 47o C in Sevilla and Badajoz.
There was a temperature of 51o C in 1876 but the measuring equipment was suspect. There was also a reported temperature of 48.8o C in Cazalla, Sevilla in 1926 which is also doubtful. Weather people believe that temperatures may have reached 50o C at places in the Guadalquivir basin and not been recorded.

∙ 14y agoYou haven't said what area in Spain. It is a big country so the north has different temperatures than here in Southern Spain. Today and yesterday in Marbella it was around 16 degrees, really lovely blue skies and sunshine but we have also had a lot of rain. So changeable would be the way I would describe it but usually tshirt and cardigan weather in the daytime and very pleasant. Quite like a sunny day in May in the UK.
