The Ford Jubilee has three areas for fluid. The transmission has a filler cap near the gear shift. The hydraulic fluid has a filler cap under the edge of the seat and the differential has a filler cap behind the seat. There is a small dipstick on the right hand side to determine hydraulic fluid level.
There is a bore in the pump cap.
On top of the differential there is a removable 3/4 " cap on either side of the seat. Hydraulic fluid can be put into either.
to change the distributer cap on a 5.7 you have to remove the radiator fans, balancer pulley, drain the coolant and then remove the water pump. the cap is directly behind the pump. it is recomened you buy a new water pump at the same time. you dont want to spend all the time replacing the cap and have the pump leak into it when your done. Because it needs a cap/the cap is faulty...
Its location is on the side of the engine. The hydraulic pump is connected to it. It is a long blue canister that you take the end cap off and slides out it should be metal with little pin holes in the filter there cost is about $70 bucks new.
Fluid goes into the pump. there's a cap you remove, has its own little dipstick too . The pump is the only component with a belt going to it that has a cap you can unscrew.
