Well your body is made of chemicals. We use chemicals to keep us alive. We breathe in oxygen and nitrogen to be used in different processes (Kreb's cycle). We use NSAIDs (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) for pain. Blood work is analyzed in a lab which IS chemistry. We hyperventilate because our body's pH is off and breathing in CO2 (like breathing in a paper bag) helps stabilize the pH in our blood. Also, CO (carbon monoxide) is over 140x more attracted to our hemoglobin than oxygen is, so when we get CO poisoning, it's because we can't get O2 in our blood. It's basically organic chemistry. Come on, DNA.

Chemistry is the foundation for anatomy and physiology and pathophysiology. It is important to understand these concepts. There are many aspects of nursing that require some knowledge of chemistry such as blood gasses, IV fluids, drugs, anesthesiology, etc.
Also, electrolyte hommeostasis and action potentials (to understand heart physiology and read EKGs) make a lot more sense. Understanding chemistry allows the nurse to be able to think proactively.
If the R.N. would want to go further in his or her education, for example to the M.S.N. or Physician's Assistant degrees, knowledge of chemistry is vital.
Chemistry is necessary in nursing as it helps nurses to administer medication. Many types of processes happen in nature that involves a chemistry reaction.
so chemistry is science and you have to measure stuff in science so as a nurse you have to measure peoples medicine to give it to them :)
it is related to nursing because i know your bum hole is itchy.
All pharmaceuticals are chemical products; clinical chemistry is a branch of analytical chemistry.
important of biochem for nurses
my name is pavani
transistor are materials they have to be extracted and purified this relies on chemistry and material science
Electricity has a great relationship with chemistry. Electricity is produced by moving electrons pulled from the elements studied in chemistry.
wala gane unxa jai
i dont freaking know
Radiochemistry is the branch of chemistry who is studying chemical reactions under ionizing radiations.
All drug research and maufacture is chemistry
It doesn't necessarily relate. What is your specific question?
Now,...................................................................................
a site contribution of chemistry in the other sciences like medicine, nursing, nutrition, psycology and agriculture ?
Steroids are chemicals, so their relationship to chemistry is quite direct.
physics, mathematics
For example in the investigation of poisoning.

The wine alcohol is related to chemistry, because one of the chemicals in organic chemistry is used in making it:ethanol.
