Super Bowl XXV: The Giants trailed the Bills by nine points in the second quarter, 12-3. They are the only team in Super Bowl History to trail by more than a touchdown and win the game.

In Super Bowl XXII, the Washington Redskins trailed the Denver Broncos 10-0 at the start of the second quarter. Washington then scored 35 points in the second quarter to set a Super Bowl record for points in a quarter and effectively ended the competitive aspect of the game. Washington won the game 42-10.

Superbowl XLIV. New Orleans Saints made a comeback from 0-10 at end of 1st quarter to 31-17 at the end of the game.
