What is the largest river by volume in the US?

The Mississippi River is the largest river by outflow in the U.S. It ranks tenth in the world, and the St. Lawrence ranks twentieth. A link is provided to the list of the world's largest rivers by average discharge which is posted in Wikipedia so you can see what else is in the top ten.
