I believe it is the Ambient light sensor to auto adjust screen brightness.
It is a light sensor
A bunch of people keep saying it's some sort of light sensor. Don't know how it works but I had the same question!
I have a Kindle Fire myself! If you go to apps in the right hand corner, you then you click store also in the right hand corner you will find tons of apps!
Per the Amazon.com website the kindle fire does not have a camera.
Light sensor used for adjusting brightness of the screen for current lighting conditions. That's a hole from RIM Playbook's camera (since Kindle Fire uses scraps of old RIMhardware.) I just got a kindle fire for Christmas, and in the top left corner there is a circle that looks like a camera, I know it's not one, but i just want to know what it is.
yes
To light or kindle a fire
You get a kindle fire out off a kindle fire case by .............................................
Yes there is.It was hard for me to find it but it's in the top left corner
Let's find some kindling to start the campfire
The Kindle Fire is called Kindle Fire because, the first word 'kindle' means that you have kindling or materials to start a fire. Then, the second word, 'fire' is the fire that comes from the kindling. So you have kindling that stars a fire. Which means that you have the regular Kindles which where the base for the Kindle Fire.
Yea. You tap the upper right hand corner where the gear is, and scroll down to volume.
