isn,t that the over drive button
theres a little red button on the left handle bar push that down then pull that brake lever in and shift down untill it goes into reverse
by the hood lever in car there is a knob u turn and there are mmore fuzes? (thats where more are this is an educated guess)
push the red button on left brake lever before pulling it back, once the lever is pulled then pucs the bottom shift button and it will drop outta neutral into reverse.
push the little red button on the rear brake lever and pull back the lever at the same time, then downshift
on the 1987 model which I believe is the same operation, you would push the button next to the parking brake lever on the left lever down when lever is fully released. then while squeezing the lever, shift 1 position down from nuetral.
yes it does, you have to press down on the red button in-front of the clutch, then pull the clutch back with the button still down, then underneath the sit on the left side there is a red tipped lever that u lift up on that lever and your in reverse
There should be a button on the left brake lever that needs to be pushed in, then depress that lever, then shift down and it should then be in reverse. My 1998 trx300 is this way. Hope this is helpful.
try a little wd 40

While stationary and in neautral there is a red button on the left handlebar on the rear brake lever. You need to push this down and pull the brake lever and then you can push the foot gear selector down for reverse.
on mine it was just with the keys or the little button for trunk release on the keys. Mine never had a lever inside the car.
its on the shift lever of my dx where your thumb hits the lever
