im in year 10 deconstructing this poem for english and i got asked the same question what emotion is portrayed in this poem, well i pretty sure the emotion is regret becasue in the last stanza he is regreting his choice. i no this is not a great answer but i cant really work out what other emotions so if anyone finds anything can u plz tell me thanks heaps and hope this helps xx emma ;)
