the story highlights multiple social issues of the society that regardless of the years have passed, but are still in practice. The main ideas include, gender discrimination: for instance, as shown in the story, if the issue is related to a women, so then their is no need of investigation (even the law don't want to put their hands in it, as they consider it the matter of pride of all men or of that particular family (actual culprit of the wrongdoing) that they have done a righteous act. Which shows that the law is at the side of the culprits that whatever they have done to their women is right which clearly depicts that women are their (men) property and their are no certain Law and Order for women. which ultimately is injustice towards a gender as nobody want wants to consider even after recognizing it. Similar is that they have normalized it to such an extent that the issues that are occurring on daily bases, no body wants a legal action against it, because it might hurt the sentiments of the family. Moreover, irony is that in our society issues related to a women that are caused by men but still considered as the matter of pride of that particular family, as what whatever is done to that women by their family was right and cherry on top is that people used to exemplify those incidents of murdering their own daughter which two other ideas of this story, honor killing and patriarchy.

Moreover, (rarely occur) if these issues comes under consideration, then the irony is that rather then taking a legal action and giving a straight of punishment to the culprit they find an easy way to get rid of it by victim blaming, rather than giving a straight of punishment to the culprit. currently, there are several issues (Zainab, Noor, Saima, Khadija Siddiqui, Quratulain, Keghad Baloch and Maliknaz Baloch) most of then don't even get higher recognition by the society.

moreover, collective dehumanization, domestic abuse and violence, gender based violence are the related topics that are being highlighted.
