the story highlights multiple social issues of the society that regardless of the years have passed, but are still in practice. The main ideas include, gender discrimination: for instance, as shown in the story, if the issue is related to a women, so then their is no need of investigation (even the law don't want to put their hands in it, as they consider it the matter of pride of all men or of that particular family (actual culprit of the wrongdoing) that they have done a righteous act.
