The main conflict of this book is at first no one liked Star girl at first everyone hated her. But then she joined the Cheerleading team on the school and she thinks that everything is going to go well, but it doesn't. She is doing what all the other cheerleaders where doing cheering for her team, but when the other team got the points she also cheered for them. Her team turned out loosing and everyone got mad and hated Star girl for cheering at the other team when they got points.
