The main conflict of this book is at first no one liked Star girl at first everyone hated her. But then she joined the Cheerleading team on the school and she thinks that everything is going to go well, but it doesn't. She is doing what all the other cheerleaders where doing cheering for her team, but when the other team got the points she also cheered for them. Her team turned out loosing and everyone got mad and hated Star girl for cheering at the other team when they got points. They said it was all her fault that they lost the game, but it wasn't all she did was cheer for both teams.

∙ 15y agoThe main conflict of the story is that nobody in Mica High is able to accept Stargirl for who she is and what she does differently from the rest of her peers. Stargirls peers are not able to accept that being different is ok.
