are you sure you don't mean 4.501023 moles of Cl2?

If you're sure, m=(35.45/(6.023X10^23X4)) which is a very small number. Again though, I'm pretty sure you wrote the question wrong

You probably mean 3.01x10^23 atoms, not -23.
3.01x10^23 atoms x 1 mol/6.02x10^23 atoms x 35.5 g/mol = 17.8 g

What is the mass of 3.01 x 1024 molecules of CL2?

In one mole of any element, there are 6.022*1023 atoms, Avogadro's number.3 mol Cl * (6.022*1023 atoms Cl/mol Cl) = 1.8066*1024 atoms ClTherefore, there are approximately 1.807*1024 atoms in three moles of chlorine.Be careful with this answer because the question probably carries hidden in it the expectation that you know that chlorine gas is diatomic. If that is the case, what is really being asked is how many atoms are in 3 moles of chlorine gas. When you answer that question be certain that you clarify your understanding. 3 moles of chlorine gas (Cl2) has 6 moles of chlorine atoms. 6 x NA will give you the answer.

How many gram in 1.7x1022 atom of chlorine?

Molar mass of Cl = 35.453g/mol 1mol Cl atoms = 6.022 x 1023 atoms (1.7 x 1022 atoms Cl) x (1mol/6.022 x 1023 atoms) x (35.453g/mol) = 1.0g Cl

How many individual atom make up one unit of aluminium chloride?

For this problem, the atomic mass is required. Take the mass in grams and divide it by the atomic mass. Then multiply it by Avogadro's constant, 6.02 × 1023. AlCl3= 133.5 grams10.5 grams Cu / (133.5 grams) × (6.02 × 1023 atoms) = 4.73 × 1022 atoms

How many atoms are in a molecule of CCl4?

C = 12 grams/mole Cl = 35.45 grams/mole CCl4 = 12 + (35.45)x4 = 153.8 grams/mole 153.8 grams/mole / 6.022 x 1023 things/mole = 25.4 x 10-23 grams/thing where thing in this case would be a molecule of CCl4

What has the largest formula mass LiCl NaCl KCl MgCl2.?

MgCl2 because although K has a higher mass than Mg, the Mg compound with Cl has two atoms of Cl not one.

What is the mass of 1.409 mole of the element chlorine in forms of grams?

What is the gram molecular mass of phosphorous?

The atomic mass of phosphurus is 31. The atomic mass of chlorine is 35.5. Therefore, the gram molecular mass of PCl3 is 31+3x35.5=137.5 grams per mole.

What is the percentage of Cl in AlClO33?

Aluminum trichlorate is made up of one aluminum, three chlorine and nine oxygen atoms. By mass, chlorine makes up 38.35 percent of the total 277.33 grams per mole.

What is gravimetric factor?

A gravimetric factor converts grams of a compound into grams of a single element. For example, we'll find the gravimetric factor of Cl in AgCl. Use the atomic mass of Ag(107.868) and the atomic mass of Cl(35.453) and add them together to get 143.3. Then divide 35.453 by 143.3 to get .2474. .2474 is the gravimetric factor of Cl in AgCl.

How many moles are in CF2Cl2?

Well, there are 140 grams of 2Cl2 in one mole of it. You take the atomic mass and find how many atoms and multiply them together. Chlorine has an atomic mass of about 35, so multiply by four b/c there are four Cl atoms in 2Cl2 .

How many grams is 64 moles of Cl?

64 moles of chlorine atoms would be 64 x 35.5 grams, i.e. 2272 grams. If you meant the substance chlorine, which consists of Cl2 molecules, it would be 4544 grams.
