Disease
It refers to the spreading of a disease-causing agent from one major point of focus to either another specific area or a general dispersal. It usually is used to refer to the spreading of cancer from one area for another. For example, when Breast cancer spreads somewhere else.
Metastatic cancer is cancer that has spread from the place where it first started to another place in the body. A tumor formed by metastatic cancer cells is called a metastatic tumor or a metastasis. The process by which cancer cells spread to other parts of the body is also called metastasis. Metastatic cancer has the same name and the same type of cancer cells as the original, or primary, cancer. For example, breast cancer that spreads to the lungs and forms a metastatic tumor is metastatic breast cancer, not lung cancer.
Metastasis is the movement or spreading of cancer cells from one organ or tissue to another. Cancer cells usually spread through the bloodstream or the lymph system.
Alternative NamesMetastatic cancer; Cancer metastases
InformationWhether or not cancer cells metastasize (spread to) to other parts of the body depends on many factors, including:
Treatment depends on the type of cancer and where it has metastasized.

development of tumour and its spread secondarily is metastasis. tumour cells can spread through blood and lymph and develop secondary tumours through rapid proliferation
The spread of a cancer or infectious agent from the site of origin to other areas of the body.
They have spread a disease from one organ to other organs in the body.
Metastasis is a medical term meaning spread of cancer from the original site to a distant site.
Metastatic means "relating to metastasis", the transferral of a bodily function or a disease to another part of the body.

Metastasis can occur during any type of cancer. It can happen early on or not at all. It is the spread of cancer through different organs.
Prostate metastasis is when cancer cells in the prostate get into the lymph system and begin to travel to other organs of the body, spreading the cancer.
metastasis
Metastasis is a new cancer site that results from the spreading process.
A tumor that has spread has metastasized, and is a metastatic tumor. The new sites of tumor growth are called metastases (singular metastasis). The process of metastasis is the process of tumour cells breaking away from the primary tumour and spreading to other parts of the body. The 4 main sites of metastasis are the brain, bones, liver and lungs. Metastatic tumours spread to these organs causing considerable harm to them. The naturopathic approach to controlling metastasis is salvestrol therapy. Anti-metastatic drugs are in clinical trials such asCabozantinib.A tumor that has spread has metastasized, and is a metastatic tumor.
They can die from metastasis to lungs leading to respiratory distress or neck metastasis
I believe the spreading of cancer to other parts of the body is called, "Metastation"!
