"That's one small step for a man and one giant leap for mankind" was the intended message, but he accidentally left out the "a" in front of "man".
He did pretty good though. If it had been me, the immortal words would probably have been, "That's one small ... HOLY COW! I'M WALKING ON THE FREAKIN' MOON! In your FACE, puny Earth people!"
