The units are the same whether you express the volume of a solid, a liquid, a gas, etc.
The metric unit for volume is the cubic meter. Multiples and submultiples can be used as well, for example the cubic decimeter (= liter), the cubic centimeter (= milliliter), the cubic kilometer, etc.
The metric unit of volume is the Liter. It is used for any volume, regardless of solid, liquid, gas, etc.

Not normally solids. Liquids and gases yes. The solid (or an empty space other than a vessel intended for holding a set amount of fluid) is measured in cubic metres and its divisions or multiples.
For some daft reason some car manufacturers describe load space in litres! I'm not turning my car into an aquarium for them, but even the cubic metre is not a helpful unit when you want to know what objects will fit into it. You need to be fairly discerning when using the metric system, especially its SI derivative, because it is easy to give values all arithmetically-correct and coherent, but not very practical or helpful.
Volume can be expressed in milliliters, liters, cubic centimeters (ml also), cubic meters, cubic kilometers, whether the volume is full of liquid, solid, gas, or empty.
cm3, cubic centimetres (ml or cc more commonly) are used most often, certainly in chemistry but it is dependent on how large the volume is of course.
In solids, it is more common to use weight, which is converted from volume, using density.
That would be grams.

The above is definitely for mass and not for volume.
In CGS system the unit for volume will be cm3
And in MKS A system, it is m3
Cubic Inches
A cubic metre or a cubic centimetre.

List a metric unit for each measurement: lenght, volume, weight, and density,
A litre is a metric unit of volume.
The metric unit of volume is meter squared: m3.
A metric unit of measure for volume, often liquids.
If, by 'metric system', you mean the 'SI system', then there is no base unit for volume. The unit for volume is called a 'derived unit', and it is the cubic metre (m3).

I not a metric unit of anything! A litre is one metric unit for volume.
