Yes. Lung cancer is one of the most deadly cancers in both men and women worldwide. The deadliest cancers are probably glioblastoma, a brain cancer which is uniformly fatal - no one survives it, and one of the forms of pancreatic cancer, which is also uniformly fatal (note that there are several forms of pancreatic cancer, and some are more treatable).
If not treated lung cancer is terminal. If the cancer is diagnosed and treated early enough it need not be fatal for many. The earlier the cancer is found the greater the chances of surviving this type of cancer is. It also depends on what kind of lung cancer you have. Some are more aggressive then others.
All forms of cancer are bad in their own ways. You can't really classify different types of cancer as worst and best forms. Some may have caused more deaths, but maybe if people didn't tan as much, ate healthier and didn't cause so much air pollution, some cancers that are extremely fatal right now may hardly effect people.
