Which religion is the largest in the world in 2013?

Christianity including many sects not just Catholics, make about 30% of the world's population. Since the past few years statistics said Christianity is the largest religion with 2.2 billion followers. They also said the number was decreasing.

Right now in 2013 it jumped to 2.2 to 2.4 billion. Many don't want to admit the truth. If it is falling then it shouldn't be still at 2.2 to 2.4 billion. Islam might be the largest religion. It could be higher than the estimated but many don't want to show it. They keep saying it is 1.5 billion, yet there are 1.6-1.8 billion Sunni Muslims. So I don't think it is 1.5 billion. Many say it is 1.2 billion. Many just want to make Islam small compared to other religions.

If it was 1.7 billion in 2009, how could it be 1.2 billion in 2013 when statistics said it is growing. Also, many statistics show that more than a quarter of the world will be Muslim in 2030.

The world population in 2030 will reach 8.3 billion, and a quarter of that is 2.8 billion not 2.2 billion. But the question is, does this really all matter? No it doesn't matter at all whether Islam has more followers than Christianity.

What is the point if more than half are useless and ignorant? What is the point if Islam is the largest religion in the world? Even if it is 1 billion Muslims in the world, I only wish the 1 billion were religious and have a strong faith.

1-2% of the whole Muslim population are true Muslims. Things I wrote on top was to show that many people can lie about populations and many things to show that their religion is still the largest.

But really, I want a Christian to tell me how many of the 2.4 billion Christians are religious?

How many Muslims are religious?

How many Hindus are religious?

How many Jews, Buddhists, and other are religious?

I don't care about size, about which religion is most popular. I don't care about which religion is the oldest. You should also not care about these things as well.

How many Muslims are actually true Muslims to the eyes of God?

How many Christians are true Christians to God?

The reason we make people convert to Islam or Christianity or other religions is because we want them to be saved from hell and to be sent to heaven. Not to make a competition on population.

Of all the religious adherents in the world: Christianity 31.5%, Islam 23.2%, Hindu 15.1%, Buddhist 7.1% and then the minor religions make up the rest.
