I might be wrong but it sounds remarkably like The Blanks' version of "Over The Rainbow' from a certain (somewhat genious) 100th episode of Scrubs entitled "My Way Home". It was used in the closing sequence. I can't find any information about it on the Blanks' site or in fact anywhere else. (RMW)

Actually I may have to retract that last post & apologise to David Mitcham......

I still think it sounds like The Blanks though !

--------

Although David Mitcham does the majority of the music for the South Pacific show, the title music is actually an extract from the song 'Somwhere Over the Rainbow' sung by guy called Israel Kamakawiwo who tragically died in 1997. You can find it on YouTube. I think this is probably where The Blanks got their inspiration...

It could be, but I believe it's Israel Kamakawiwo'olesinging somewhere over the rainbow. If you search his name on youtube, you'll find it. He is a wonderful Hawaiin singer, and his voice is just so amazing.

Hope this helps! :-)

The sound track to the series is also available on iTunes - South Pacific (music inspired by the television series) - Amazon won't sell outside UK

David Mitcham recorded another version of Israel Kamakawiwo'ole's arrangement with a different singer.
