EgyptAir is part of the Star Team Alliance program. See related link below, however their specific frequent flyer program is EgyptAir Plus.
EGYPTAIR Plus is the name of EGYPTAIR's frequent flyer program.
Most airlines flying into or out of Canada have a Frequent Flier program that allows for accumulating and using air miles. Air Canada certainly does and they are part of the Star Alliance program and any airline in this alliance can acquire and use frequent flier miles on Air Canada. See the related link for more details. Many other airlines have similar deals and alliances in/out of Canada.
Alaska Air does have a frequent flyer program. This program is known as the Mileage Plan and can be accessed via their website.
L class tickets are those issued in exchange for miles from a frequent flier account.
British Airways air miles are available for members of the airline's frequent flier program. To sign up, a flier simply needs to visit their website and then book a flight to start earning points.
The bases (the people catching/holding up the flier/'person in the air') and the spotter (the person making sure that the flier doesn't fall and crack her head open) catch the flier.
There are a number of frequent flyer programs available from all major airlines. I personally like the Hawaiian Air Miles program as well as the Delta Sky Mile program.

It depends but most Frequent Flier programs (e.g. Air Canada's and United's) will allow you to do that route in Economy for 50,000 miles maximum. If you book well in advance and out of season it can be got for as few as 25000 in Economy. First Class will cost more Frequent Flier miles.
There are roughly 20 different airlines that are partners in the WorlPerks Frequent Flyer Program. Some of the included airlines are: Aloha, Horizon Air, Kenya, and Trans States. There are a number of hotels and rental car companies that also participate.
How you redeem air miles varies by the airline in which you are redeeming them. Air miles can usually be redeemed online or by phone and can be used towards future travel and upgrades.
Yes, they are both part of the Skyteam Alliance and the miles may be used inter-changeably.
The best way is usually at an individual airline website. Apply online and you will be allocated a frequent flier number and usually a membership card about the size of a credit card will also be mailed to you. It is best if you want to save a lot of air miles, to always travel on the same airline or a code-share partner. As an example if travelling on Delta airlines, miles from Air France/KLM also count and others. Getting a credit card associated with the airline also boosts the miles quickly. When "Elite" status is reached, bonus miles area awarded every time a flight is made also. With 240,000 frequent flier miles on some airlines you can actually get an "Around the World " ticket.
