It is called the intake manifold.
The only sensors that I am aware of on the throttle body is the throttle position sensor.
The throttle body is where the air goes into the engine. Find the air filter, then follow the plastic duct over to the throttle body. It is round and made of metal.
It is connected to the underside of the throttle body with two screws.Looking directly at the engine from the front of your car, large, cast, metal object on the left of the engine is the intake manifold.Where you see the black, plastic crossover tube connecting to the intake manifold is the throttle body, it has a spring-looking thing on its side.Just underneath the throttle body, you'll see the IACconnected with an electrical plug.
A fuel injector pulse is the product of an electrical charge controlled by the ecm to briefly open an injector. If the engine is throttle body injected, you would find the injectors in the throttle body.
The throttle position sensor is on the throttle body. That's the part of the engine that controls the amount of air allowed into the engine. To find the throttle body, follow the air intake routing toward the engine. The throttle body is the part that sits on the intake manifold. To find the throttle position sensor, follow the throttle cable to the throttle body. If it helps, have someone press down and release the throttle pedal while you're looking for the throttle body/position sensor. The throttle cable causes a shaft to turn, that's the part that controls the air coming into the engine. The throttle position sensor is connected to that shaft.
The fuel presure regulator is on the drivers side of the throttle body about center from front to back of the engine. It is connected to the fuel return line and have a vaccume line connected to the throttle body. Frank
get a friend to sit in the car and repeatedly press the throttle leveryou, yourself look under the hood and you will see a black tube connected to a box where your air filter is, follow the LARGE tube up toll you get to your engine and you should see a metal cable pulling a lever. that whole assembly it is attached to is your throttle body.
The throttle body controls the amount of air that enters the intake manifold. It is connected to the intake manifold and is supplied filtered airthrough the air breather. The accelerator pedal is connected to the throttle plates that control the amount of air allowed to enter the engine.
It is located on the side of the throttle body, which is the metal piece connected to the hose that goes to the air filter. It is held on with two screws and a clip for the wire. You cannot test it, only replace it.
Throttle body spacers increase the air volume between the engine and the throttle body.
pulse dampener
The air intake filter assembly would be connected to the throttle body.
