Spain does not have a Capitol Building.

Probably the most famous locations in Spain are El Real Monasterio de El Escorial ( a Palace and a Monastery) in San Lorenzo about 45 kilometers outside Madrid, the Alhambra Palace and Fortress in Granada, the Sagrada Familia Basilica in Barcelona, Santiago de Compostela Cathedral, and Catedral de Santa María de la Sede in Sevilla.

All have been designated World Heritage Sites by UNESCO.
