• In the original movie alone it does not have a real name nor gender, for on the commentary track its creators called it just "Fluffy" with no gender reference - even after the sequel film.
• In the official sequel film this genderless "Fluffy" was turned into the girl Kiara as shown by its official trailer and confirmed by one of the animators in a magazine interview.
