Pure aggression/threat. There is far more risk to the human race from atomic weapons/ballistic missiles than potential benefit.
The development of intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) during the 1950s made long-range bombers obsolete. ICBMs provided a much faster, more direct and accurate means of delivering nuclear weapons to distant targets, making the need for manned long-range bombers less relevant in terms of strategic deterrence.
Blowing up your enemies is not the way to solve all problems. So atomic weapons really did not need to be used in WWII.
This is a very long process, and we give rather short answers. You need to research the Manhattan Project. That was the code name for the US Atomic Weapons program. There were 2 different types of atomic weapons built, and they were completed in 1945.
Familiarity with orbital mechanics would be an excellent idea. That, and some really big engines. Our unmanned missions to Mars have all been launched on the civilian equivalent of Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles.
Ballistic training can be very tricky. You would need to proceed with caution.
Hawks predominately protested "limited war"; Hawks wanted to invade North Vietnam and use nuclear weapons (atomic weapons) if need be. It's called FIGHTING TO WIN!
They had scary weapons.
Unless the missile is intented for scientific use in research, there is no need at all for them.
i think you need to be more specific there there have been numerous weapons made since 1945 long range missiles top the list Jets are also a major step after the 2nd great war
President Truman was under pressure to use nuclear weapons to "win the war" in Korea. He couldn't use nukes because that might cause WW3; the Soviets had the atomic bomb by 1949...Korea began in 1950. To pacify the generals he used that term...to let them know that this was not really a war...therefore we don't need to use nuclear weapons. In reality, it was history's first LIMITED WAR, but Truman nor his generals knew that at the time; the atomic age was only 5 years old in 1950 (the atomic age was born when the first atomic weapons were detonated in 1945) and they had to learn how to fight wars in an era of nuclear weapons. Nor did they know that ANOTHER "Limited War" would be fought in Asia a decade later (Vietnam).
She didn't have weapons. She was a pilot and didn't need weapons.
It depends if you are talkig about the ballistic knives or just a regular knife. Ballistic knives are unlocked at a certain level as a secondary weapon. A regular knife (to knife someone) is automatically equipped. Just press down on the right thumbstick and your character will knife. Be sure you are close enough to knife, too. The way Ballistic knives and the regular knives differ is that you can thow a Ballistic knife. A good way to practice knifing people is to play Sticks and Stones (wager match on Live), and to learn the basic skills of knifing, I highly recommend playing campaign mode, as they show you how to do a lot of stuff that you can also do in Live, which I found very helpful.
