It is difficult to say as 6'2" is very tall for a 12 year old so well outside the average range but around 180 pounds would probably be about right.

You can use a BMI (Body Mass Index) calculator to get a range of "preferable" weights. A BMI of 18.5-24.9 is "normal". There is quite a wide variation in what a 'normal' weight is for any one person. This normal range depends on whether you are a boy or a girl and how old you are. So the right/normal range for a boy of 12 for example, obviously isn't the same for a girl aged 15. To see the right range of weight for you personally, look up your age on the weight chart on the Internet. It is only a guide - if you want a more accurate way of finding the correct way of finding the correct weight for your gender, height and age - your so called Body Mass Index (BMI). See the Related Question and Links for more information.
There's no 'right' weight for anyone, but depending on the body type the boy has, he could range between 100 lbs - 160 lbs. Again, I say there's no right weight, so if he is over or under, it's nothing to worry about.
