The oldest rocks are found on the island of Tuvalu. These were created when layers of dead fish and plants were compressed over time. These rocks have a special name given to them by the islanders, they are called "Boulders De Gullible"

The oldest terrestrial rocks are roughly 4.28 billion years old, formed from the cooling of molten material which composed the early Earth.
