it is the syrian hamster
Syrian hamster or golden hamster (Mesocricetus auratus) from Syria :)
'Golden' hamster is an alternate name for a Syrian Hamster. Assuming the albino female is too a Syrian Hamster, then yes, they can mate. If it's some variety of dwarf hamster, then no.
The hamster came the Syrian Dessert.
There is lots like, Syrian, Chinese dwarf hamster, Campbells dwarf hamster, Robo dwarf hamster, Russian hamster. My favorite, is the blueberry campbells dwarf hamster and the Syrian hamster. They are the sweetest and easy to hold. NOT THE ROBO"S!!!
The golden hamster or Syrian hamster, Mesocricetus auratus.
The Syrian hamster is the most popular breed of hamster.
They are both types of Syrian hamster, however Syrian are solitary and will fight if another hamster is in their territory. They can get seriously injured so don't have them together.
The Syrian, also called The Golden Hamster or the Teddy Bear Hamster is more mature and they dont bite unless you hurt or touch them where they dont want you to.
Syrian hamsters are territorial and will most likely kill your Chinese hamster, so no.
What size cage is ok for a black Syrian hamster and where's the best place to get a black Syrian hamster?
as long as its not to big and not to small
Yes,a Syrian hamster can bite but mine only bit me once though so it depends on their personality
Rhino is a Syrian hamster :)
'Fancy' hamsters are just Syrian hamsters with interesting fur. Syrian hamsters are solitary creatures, and will fight against another. Do not put them together.
that will proberly be a Syrian Hamster or the Golden Hamster.
yes but it is unlikely. hamsters can be cannibals. my hamster had a sister but she killed her and ate her. most hamsters are nice though. but if a dwarf hamster was dead then the syrian hamster would likely eat it
a Syrian hamster or a Ginnie pig :)
The commonest pet hamster is the Syrian or Golden hamster, Mesocricetus auratus.
the cheapest is probably the Chineze hamster yet I would recomend the Syrian hamster
No. There is a notable size distinction between the Syrian Hamster (5-7" long) and the dwarf hamsters (Chinese, Russian, Roborovski), which are rarely longer than 4".
Depends what you mean by 'type'. If you mean can a Syrian Hamster mate with a 'teddy bear', 'black bear', 'fancy' hamster, etc, then all these names are simply variants of the Syrian, and are different species. Therefore they can all freely breed together. A syrian hamster though cannot be bred with dwarf hamsters, or European hamsters, these are different species.
By 'Teddy bear' do you mean Long-haired Syrian? And by 'black bear' do you mean black Short-Haired Syrian? Then yes. They are both Syrian.
Dwarf hamsters can live with their own species of Dwarf Hamsters. Never put a Dwarf Hamster and Syrian Hamster together because the Syrian would attack the Dwarf.
If your hamster is a syrian then after the hamsters have mates, yes, you do have to separate them.
no, a teddy bear hamster is not a dwarf. a teddy bear hamster is a syrian.
Yes, it is also knows as a 'Syrian' hamster.
my syrian hamster is about 5-7" long they are about the size of a rat!
that would really depend on what the hamster was dying of.
the syrian hamster originally came from north Africa
The syrian hamster is the biggest breed of them all.
The Syrian hamster is one of the most, or the most, popular hamster because it has a quite easy temperament and fairly easy to hand-tame. The Syrian hamster, also sometimes known as "teddy bear hamsters", are also quite cute and cuddly (depending on what state of health it's in, that is.) Remember, though, even if Syrian hamsters are the most hand-tameable hamsters, that doesn't mean they won't nip! So be careful when handling even Syrian… Read More

With a Syrian hamster you refill its food bowl and water bottle every morning. In other words once a day.
If they're both at least three months, it works. If the male is still under three months, then no.
I give my syrain hamster the specialised treats and he has never gotten ill. On the package there are the reccomended daily allownce....I think a syrian hamster can have around 3 chocolate hamster treats per day.
The Syrian Hamster, also known as the Golden Hamster, is designated Mesocricetus auratus.
The nicest hamster would probably be the syrian hamster. Watch out for Chinese and Russian hamsters they are the meanest.
