Robbing a bank is a federal crime and is usually handled by the FBI rather than a local police department. The punishment can vary depending on many factors. It will depend on if a weapon was used and the amount that was stolen. Generally if no weapon was used the maximum sentence is 20 years. If a weapon was used, the maximum sentence is 25 years.

All state's will have a different punishment for this offense. Your state law will set the statutory punishment for the crime, but it is going to amount to a felony offense which calls for prison time.

How much jail time can someone get as an accomplice to a fruit machine robbery?

You don't note jurisdiction, so it's impossible to give even a rough answer. Generally speaking, though, an accomplice is subject to being charged as if he or she had personally performed the robbery, and the maximum sentence would usually depend on the amount stolen. An accessory (someone who was not involved in either the planning or the commission of the crime itself, but assisted the "principal" to escape justice afterwards) is generally subject to lower penalties.
