I do a lot of work in cars when i can and this a job you do NOT want to do yourself. they all go bad on these cars. mine went out in '05 on a '93 i have.

it is up under the center console and literally the whole thing has to come out.

unless your a professional mechanic there are just too many things that can go wrong.

You have to take out the whole heater and air condiasioning system out and replace the new heater core in. When you replace the heater core, you firset have to put the air condiasoning system in then the heating system/ heater core. When you take the old systems out, you first have to take out the A.C then the heater.

The heater matrix, in a Peugeot 206, can be replaced by removing the heater core and the hoses. With the heater core removed you can replace it with a new heater core.
