First You Would find the drain plug on the left or right of the bottom of the radiator,locate the plug screw the plug out let the fluid drain put the plug back,go to a local parts store get 1 gal. of antifreeze pour that in first, then fill the rest of the radiator with water/check for leaks,no leaks your set for life.

It is on the bottom of the radiator on the drivers side.
Changing a radiator in a 1997 Pontiac Grand Am can be a difficult task. To remove the radiator, all of the radiator hoses will need to be disconnected from the radiator. The transmission lines will also need to be removed. After all of the hoses are disconnected, remove all of the clips that are holding the radiator in place. Lift the radiator up and place with a new one. All the hoses and clips will need to be put back in place with the new radiator.
The 1991 Pontiac Grand Am radiator drain plug can be found on the bottom of the radiator. The radiator drain plug will be in the center of the radiator bottom.
