Cell division is a process by which a cell, called the parent cell, divides into two or more cells, called daughter cells. Binary Fission (in simple organisms) is the reproductive division into two separate organisms. In complex organisms, mitosis results in two (or more) cells that can further divide, while meiosis results in a gamete (sex cell) that cannot further divide.
cell volume/surface increases, then a cell must divide or split into two, because if it doesn't then it would literally just be one huge blob. Cell division is necessary for all life, without it then you would barely exist. Cells need to divide because if you lose older cells, who is gonna replace it without cell division? Your body consists of millions or billions of cells, and without them you wouldn't be you! And DNA replication.
There are different purposes.
The basic two are reproduction; called meiosis, and growth (such as replace and/or repair) called mitosis
Cell division takes place in order to make new cells/ reproduce.
a. growth and repair b. production of energy c. reproduction d. both a.& c. The answer from the following above answers is a. growth and repair.
Cell reproduction: to make more cells. Cells are constantly dying, so new ones need to be made.
A: It allows growth and replaces worn out or damaged cells!
they split the cell during cytokinesis
chromosomes A+ cheater
plant cell have cell divison by phragmoplast microtubules they composed of complex microtubules .microtubules are part of cytoskelton
The shortest stage of the cell cycle is m-phase.
The purpose of a cell membrane is that it controls what passes into and out of the cell.
about the cell divison maybe
Mitosis
they split the cell during cytokinesis
Meiosis
Mitosis&Meiosis
Mitosis
cytokinesis and mitosis
cell divison
chromosomes A+ cheater
not the replace and growth of worn and or dead cells
microscopepetridishessharp pipetteblunt pipettechemical to stimuate cell divison
if im not wrong, its called cell divison. sorry if this dosent help.
