The innate soft texture of the soft rubber tires differentiates the soft rubber tires from their closely-related hard rubber tires.

What wheels creates the most friction?

(Before I answer this question, I will restate it to "Which tires create the most friction?".) In racing, super soft racing tires usually create the most friction on road. They give wind to durability, but require only several turns to heat up.

Why different tires are used in Formula 1 cars in different tracks?

Different tyres have different surfaces that depending on the ground either increase or decrease friction. Selection of proper F1 tyres play a significant role because the cars travel at a great speed. Here are the different types of F1 racing tires Dry Weather Tyres Hard compound Soft compound Super-soft compound Wet Weather Tires Intermediate Wet tyres Extreme wet Tires Different tires are used according to the track surface they are racing on.

What is a cheater stick?

A cheater slick was a tire that was a cross between a treadless (slick) soft rubber wide tire used in drag racing... and a standard street tire that had treads. Cheater slicks had token treads in them to get around the rules against using slicks and thus were "cheating." Cheater slicks were simply very close to all-out racing slicks with a token tread and sidewall that looked more like typical street tires, but were usually wider than street tires. These were popular in the 1960s.

Are hard tires better than soft tires in f1?

Soft tires are better because they are smooth on the track which gives them more speed.

Are tires soft?

Yes

All of the tires used up during racing of cars where are they disposed of How long do the tires last during a race such as the Indy 500 or 24 hours of Daytona. Thanks?

I believe they go back to the manufacture for recycling, the longevity of tires depends on: track conditions and surface, how the car is set up, and how soft or hard the tire is, (a soft tire will wear-out much quicker than a hard tire).

What is unique about dragster tires?

The drive tires are made of very soft rubber.

Is tire made of hard rubber?

it depends upon the situation, the track on which you are riding and what type of rider you are. if the surface is hard and bumpy, you should use hard tyres, especially when you are a drifter.

What types of tires cause a lot of friction?

I think you may mean traction? Usually the wider the tires the better. Also racing tires greatly improve cornering because of their soft compound which grabs the road better. If you meant friction... um, I would say skinny tires because it would be easier to "burn out" or lose traction, causing lots of friction. The loss of traction, when talking about cars, will increase the amount of friction and heat.

What is the purpose of dual rear tires?

One purpose of dual rear tires is to distribute very heavy loads over a larger area. Though tires can often handle the load, they will often sink in on soft ground. Another major advantage is that if one tire has a blowout (suddenly loses its air), the other tire will take the load and the driver won't have trouble controlling the vehicle, sometimes even able to continue driving to a service shop.

Why do mountain bikes which are designed to be used off-road have much rougher tires than racing bicycles which are designed to be used on an even surface?

On a smooth surface the best traction and lowest rolling resistance is had from smooth tires. On an uneven or soft surface, like mud and sand a treaded tire offers the best traction, and the poor rolling characteristics is a trade of you have to live with.
