The Principle of interference is that waves add or subtract dependent on the phase or angle difference between the two waves. In phase waves (0 degrees) add and out of phase waves (180 degrees) subtract.

The combining of waves as they meet is known as?

Interference. Constructive Interference, which is where the waves increase amplitudes and troughs when they overlap. Destructive Interference, which is where the waves cancel each other out when they overlap.

What causes the process interference?

Due to superposition principle. What is it? When two or more waves traverse in a medium, they travel as if the other waves were absent. What does it mean? In case of marbles moving across if they come into contact they would collide and change it path. But as the waves meet together no such material collision and no change in the direction of their motion. Hence that valid statement as the first part of superposition principle. Now second part is for the interference part. Though there is no collision, but at a particular point in the medium the displacement of the particle in the medium is the resultant of the displacements produced by all the waves at the instant. So if the resultant displacement is minimum then it is termed as destructive interference and if the displacement is maximum then it is considered as the constructive interference.

What is Harold somer's principle of government expenditures?

Developed by Harold Sommers and is guided by these four principles he had suggested in the field of government expenditure to wit: 1.PRINCIPLE OF MININUM EXPENDITURE- Government must only spend the minimum least it cost, that is in consistent in protecting the welfare of its citizens or people. 2.PRINCIPLE OF MINIMUM INTERFERENCE WITH PRIVATE ENTERPRISE- government spending should have a little interference with private entities, it should not compete with business entities. 3. PRINCIPLE ODF MAXIMUM EMPLOYMENT- Government expenditures its primary purpose is to raise the employment level to a higher level as possible. 4.PRINCIPLE OF MAXIMUM ADVANTAGE-in government spending maximum advantage each expenditures spend should result to a marginal social responsibility advantage
