Psychology studies the thought patterns of the brain. The brain is also studies in Biology (in combination with chemistry and physics) to know how it works in the sense which reactions and effects lead to what. It's also related to other sciences like sociology, which studies patterns in groups.

∙ 12y agoThis can be a very general question, since you are asking about a lot of sciences. Not all things considered a science may actually be a science in the same manner as physics. For instance, some people consider psychology to be a science - a study/science of the mind, mental states, processes, and behaviors of humans and other living things. These things are not entirely related to physics. Though the brain is like an organic, chemical computer, so it's thanks to the "laws of physics," that we're capable of so many things. And maybe we really are bound by some natural thing in the universe - we haven't gotten that far with science yet.
To put physics briefly, it is a study of how the universe works. While science looks at mechanisms of the universe, other sciences are based on things that relate to those mechanisms. Occasionally there is the argument that chemistry makes physics, or that physics makes chemistry - on the atomic and sub-atomic level both sciences tend to look at the same thing, though the interest may be different, it's all about how things interact with the surrounding world and what happens.
A lot of scientific disciplines are integrated nowadays. It's possible because of the similar foundation and the focus of a similar goal. Science is the study of your world - the place you exist. There's just so much detail that it can't be easily looked at as a whole until you break it down into smaller pieces, eventually to put it all back together.

∙ 15y agoAll other sciences are derived from the basic laws of physics. You could consider science to be an organizational hierarchy. Psychology and other Social Sciences explain things (such as behavior) in "macro" terms. Biology gets a little smaller and explains the different organ, tissue, and cellular mechanisms responsible for exhibited a particular phenomenon. Chemistry comes next, which identifies how the different biological components interact with one another, and then physics explains the underlying theory of how the chemical reactions actually work.

It is much the same as the relationship between chemistry and biochemistry: chemistry is the general field studying matter while biochemistry is a more focused study of matter as it relates to life forms.
