When you mix red and violet it turns into a dark dark red like a blood color.
Red and violet.
One part red (a primary colour) plus one part orange (a secondary colour) will result in red- orange (a tertiary colour).
Red is a primary color. Violet is a secondary color resultant from mixing equal parts Red and Blue. If you combine the two you will get the tertiary color Red-purple (or Red-violet).
It depends on what particular shade of violet you want. The color known as "violet" in computer lists (used on websites, in the X windowing system, etc.) is usually defined as 50% of the red channel and 100% of the blue channel (if you were mixing paint, this would be 33% red and 67% blue).
The primary colour red added to the secondary colour orange (the result of mixing red and yellow) will result in the tertiary colour red-orange.
Three secondary colors, orange, green and violet, result from mixing two of the three primary colors together. Orange is made from mixing equal parts of red and yellow. Green is made from mixing equal parts of yellow and blue. Violet is a mixture of blue and red.

Violet is a secondary color. Secondary colors are achieved by mixing two of the three primary colors in equal proportions. Violet is made by mixing Blue and Red, therefore the answer is two.
Mixing the colors red and yellow will result in the color orange.
Colors that are related to each other are analogous. They are neighbors on the color wheel and share a common color. For example, blue violet, violet, and red violet. they all contain red. The Violet (a secondary color) has been made by mixing red and blue (both primary colors). The blue-violet and red-violet (both tertiary colors) have been made by mixing the secondary color (Violet) with the primary color included in it's name. They are analogous, or relatives, because they all contain red. This holds true for any three colors on the color wheel which directly in contact with each other. See the related link for more on mixing colors.
Red + Red = Red Red + Blue = Purple
The three primary colours are green, red and yellow u can get green by mixing blue and yelow u can get blue by mixing Violet and green U can get Red by mixing Violet and orange im not sure about the Blue and the red but the green im sure about but still give it a try :D good luck
You would probaby get a muddy red-violet. You would have to experiment with the mixture. Violet and orange are secondary colors and they usually do not mix too well.
Mixing red and blue pigments makes a purple color. Mixing red and blue light, on the other hand, gives you magenta.
The three secondary colors are green, orange, and violet.
