INSPECT IDLE SPEED
(a) Race the engine at 2,500 rpm for approx. 90 seconds.
(b) Check the idle speed.
Idle speed (w/ Cooling fan OFF):
M/T 650
± 50 rpm
A/T 700
± 50 rpm
If the idle speed is not as specified, check the IAC valve and air
intake system.
when a dozer is idling its rpm are at 90,000 to 95,000 Could be dirt in the carb's idle circuit. Maybe a vacuum leak.
800 RPM
Mine is between 500 and 600 rpm's after the engine is warmed up.
i would make sure that the engine is idling at the right rpm cause to fast of rpm can cause that for sure
You dont , it is controlled by the ECU , the is an "Idle Speed Control Valve" Which is located under the throttle body. should check it to see if the valve inside of it is stuck .
Yes - You have a vacuum leak
Normal operating temperature 650-750 RPM it should be between 0.5 and 1
Took it to a car dealership and they found that the spark plug needed to be replaced. It is fine now.
No, you can't (unless it is empty) Echo has 1.5 lt engine. Engine horsepower 108-hp @ 6,000 rpm Engine torque 105 lbs.-ft. @ 4,000 rpm
About 600 RPM
cause if its idling at zero rpm the motor is off ...
the RPM should idle 700 - 900
