As of June 2015,the Supreme Court legalized gay marriage nationwide and confirmed the Affordable Care Act (ObamaCare) for the second time, while the "Citizens United" decision now allows unlimited corporate and foreign cash donations to politicians. Prayer (or not) in schools remains a topic among the GOP. Politics brings all these to the forefront for national debate, as well as helping control and direct the money necessary to win elections and project power and authority.
