Students who will successfully complete all Air Force ROTC curriculum and degree requirements will enter active duty as Second Lieutenants. Air Force Pilot then applies. As a second Lieutenant you can expect a starting salary of $35,000, tax free government housing and food allowance, with 30 days of vacation with pay each year, comprehensive medical and dental care, $250,000 low cost life insurance and a variety of recreational facilities. For a Colonel the starting salary would be $108 thousand.
