Wheaten Terrier
buddy wong is my awesome wheaten terrier :)
I have a soft coated wheaten terrier and he is about 5 years old. He is about like 60 pounds give or take. And i think that is an average size for them. Another soft coated wheaten lives next door to me and she is around 45 pounds. She is only 2 years old though. Hopes this helps My Wheaten is 27 pounds and 2 ounces at her last wellness exam. She is a little small as most females are 30 - 35 lbs. Males are larger and usually go from 35-45 pounds but can be much larger. Our breed has a STANDARD. A 60 pound male dog is either too fat or way over the height allowance set by that STANDARD.
This is what they look like as a puppy Adult
I think terrier's as a whole don't like it. I have Scotties all my life and have only one who wanted to be around water. I think it has to do with their coat and head size that makes it hard for them to swim.
