Table salt, or sodium chloride is a molecular compound with the chemical formula of NaCl. The smallest unit of salt wholly maintaining its properties is a single molecule.
If it's in the ocean, or the sea, or whatever, then most of the time it is dissolved. But normally, it is not. You would call them salt crystals.
Salt crystals vary in size. Some are as big as a refrigerator.

A particle that has a fixed shape and doesn't flow
solids have a regular geometrical shape . they have a tendency to maintain their shape when subjected to outside force. solids may break under force but it is difficult to change their shape.
Salt will give ice the ability to get colder than freezing. It lowers the freezing point.
Carrier proteins
The two elements that make the compound "salt", are sodium (metal) and chloride (non-metal). These two elements are bonded together to create sodium chloride as we call it "salt". Sodium particle-> O + O <-Chloride particle = Sodium chloride (salt).
mixture of rock particle and salt
We cannot see the salt particle when it is added to the water because it dissolves
Salt
Table salt is cube shaped while epsom salt (type of salt) is prism shaped.
A particle that has a fixed shape and doesn't flow
After the chemical reaction, a salt is produced and water. For example: HCl (aq, acid) + NaOH (aq, alkaline) → H 2O (water) + NaCl (aq, salt)
solids have a regular geometrical shape . they have a tendency to maintain their shape when subjected to outside force. solids may break under force but it is difficult to change their shape.
solids always have a fixed shape because the particles in a solid are stuck together which means there is no where for the particle to move.
Salt will give ice the ability to get colder than freezing. It lowers the freezing point.
Solid has -Defined Shape -Defined Volume The particle motion is as, they can vibrate, but they can't actually move from one place to another. The denisty is.. D=M/V Density = mass/volume
When it is fine powdered.
